Bought this truck as a Mother's Day present, a couple years ago. It was in pretty rough shape. I rebuilt the engine, swapped the 4 speed manual for a C6 automatic. It's a consistent winner at the local truck pulls and mud drags. She loves her truck. She named it "Oh, Hell No Kitty! !"

Where to start... I bought the truck for $1200 in 2009 when I was 17.  I had it for a year and started into it taking the old cab off, pulling the motor cleaning everything up, pulling another parts truck home, taking the cab off, and putting it on the good frame. However, I did not pull the front, rear or tranny off of the frame "this is important later on". Well, after getting another bed, I put it all together and primed it. Drove it for a year even in the snow which was a bad idea the ... read more >>

It has taken me about 6 years. I have built it from the ground up. When I bought it, it was an empty shell with bullet holes and rust. I have done everything to it except the machine shop bored the motor .060. It took a lot of time and fabricating parts to get it done. I painted the puzzle pieces on it because ... read more >>

My Dad, J.B. Martin III bought this truck in October 1984. After a while he put a lift kit on it. Four inches of suspension and 3 inches of body lift. After some years he bought other trucks and this one sat out in the pasture until I came along. When I turned 16 I asked my dad if we could remodel the truck from top to bottom. We started on it and it took 2 1/2 years and we finally finished. Here are pictures of my show truck. It is never driven on wet roads or in the ... read more >>

I bought my Tahoe, dubbed Ol' Bessie, July 10th 2010 from a family member of my then wife after a nasty rollover accident of my previous vehicle when it had 198k miles on it. When I saw Ol' Bessie I fell in love and had many plans for her, in my book I have always been a Chevy guy from day 1 and I thought she needed a lot of TLC! I wasn't wrong about the TLC part one bit! At 15 years old and having 5 previous owners before me she was highly neglected and wasn't properly cared ... read more >>
