1967 Ford F250-Tony K.

My father bought this truck new in 67' special order for the paint and mirrors. It was used for many things like camping, but mainly as a ranch truck. He kept it perfect as well as he could, garaged its whole life. I asked him never to sell it, as I would carry it on as a family heirloom. He finally called me one day and told me to come and get it. I took the first flight out and went home to bring the Ol OX back to California. It has under gone many phases of restoration. One such ... read more >>

1968 Chevy C10 – Kenny P.

My name is Kenny and this is the story of my Chevy truck. I purchased my 68 Chevy C10, short bed, step side in November 2004 for a mere $500. I was working as a mechanic for UPS- I guess this is where my love for trucks started. The truck started life as a Navy workhorse. It was used to haul things around a Navy base. When they finished with it, Rich, a coworker of mine, purchased it at an auction. He used it for several years as his daily transportation. When he finished with it, Harry, another coworker ... read more >>

1997 Ford F150-Jon R.

My grandfather bought the truck about 2 months before I was born. Sadly he passed about 9 months ago and the truck became mine. I've had a lot of memorable moments in this truck with my grandfather. Has 192,000 and going strong.

1975 Ford F100-John B.

John's truck was purchased brand new in Alaska. After the original owner passed away and no one in the family wanted it, John was approached about buying the truck. With a history of tinkering on cars, John was their only choice or the Ford was headed to the scrap yard. The family told John that it was a 4x4 Ford with a manual transmission. John has always been more of a GM guy, but he liked the sound a four wheel drive with a stick. The family told John that the truck was "almost roadworthy." John offered a little over ... read more >>

1969 Chevy C10 – Joy Y.

My 1969 Chevrolet Truck’s journey began when my daddy bought it second hand. He bought it to use as a farm and hunting truck. It came with a 327 motor in it and he took that out and put a 454 because he needed the power to pull his trailers. The truck came into my life when I started to drive before it was legal and that was before 1980. I used to drive around on our property and the property around us. When I got my license I thought my daddy would let me have THE truck. WRONG!! He ... read more >>

1950 Ford F1 – Rick Hanson

For decades I had driven past the old Ford in the field. It wasn't until my friend Philip Beltrami, said we should get that old truck and "fix 'er up!" We discussed with the owner "R.D." if he wanted to sell, and he said "Sure, those can be pretty pricey". I said they were expensive only if they ran. RD said it ran when he parked it there, and the keys were still in it. The problem was, he parked it there in 1979 and it was now 2010. Phil and I purchased it and hauled her back to ... read more >>

1968 Ford F100-Caden P.

My grandpa bought the truck in the summer of 1968 brand new and used it as a ranch truck. Later in 1980 my grandpa brought my newborn dad home is this truck! He then parked the truck under a barn in 1990 and it set for 20 years! Then I pulled the truck out of the barn in 2010 and 4 years later I finally restored it fully and was able to take my senior pictures with my grandmother before she passed away! Me and my grandpa still enjoy doing car shows! This truck means the world to me because ... read more >>

1972 Ford F250-Erick D.

I've had this truck over 8 years. Other than paint and upholstery, it's all original. It has a 390 engine, 4 speed manual transmission, 4 wheel power assist drum brakes. It runs and drives great! My research has shown the "High Boy" model was only available from 1967 to 1976…

1979 Ford F150-Jeff V.

Growing up, camping trips were the highlight of my summers. We would camp in Northern Michigan with my grandparents. My grandfather purchased a 1979 F150 Camper Special to tow the camper each summer. I had many memories sitting in between my grandparents as we drove from campground to campground. I was born in 1979 and had a strong attachment to the truck and the memories that came with it. I was always in love with that truck and as I got older I had told my family that I'd really like that truck someday. I went to college and my ... read more >>
