1969 Ford F100-Kevin S.

Do you remember as a kid...riding in the back of your dads truck? Loving life... My dad had a "booger" green short bed F100...and I loved it when he said let's go... I had been casually looking for the same truck...booger green short bed, and then one day one popped up on eBay. It was an old farmers truck...just like dads...down to those super ugly hub caps and steel wheels! Needless to say I bought it...and had it shipped that week. As soon as it was unloaded in the driveway the fife had already that defeated look in her eye...but ... read more >>

1969 Chevy C10 – Jimmy M.

I'm a 20 year old with a 8 month old son and I just bought my first truck. My dad has a 71 Gmc and I've helped him work on it throughout the years and I love his truck so much I've decided to get my own and build it with my son so I can take him to the goodguys show and share the build with him like my dad did. I got it from the original owner and it's a bone stock drum Brake half ton long bed. They rebuilt the engine and put a 700r4 in it ... read more >>

1972 Ford F100-Rick M.

Rick’s father has owned this 1972 Ford F100 since 1977. His father bought it from a friend. Rick’s father used the truck to drive from Culver City to San Diego about 100 miles and come home on the weekends. His father battled cancer and passed away in 1997 at 70 years old. Rick’s mother gave the truck to Rick. He would sometimes use the truck to pull a trailer and make a haul to the dump. Rick’s nephew used the truck to take Rick’s mother everywhere, since she never drove. They went to doctors’ appointments, shopping, everywhere - until the ... read more >>

1972 Chevy C10 – Eric B.

Well, the story started in 2015 in a small Texas town of camaron just northeast of Austin. I saw the truck on-line and knew that it was what I wanted. It had the stance, the color and the classic c10 look. I purchased the truck and it had a nice set of headers, large tires, and a great sounding exhaust. Since purchasing the truck we have enjoyed several long drives in the country and recently relocated to San Antonio where on a nice weekend it can be found cruising the hill country and of course cruising the latest car ... read more >>

1971 Chevy C10 – Sean H.

The truck has been in my family since new. My dad bought it off of a brother in law I believe in 1977 then sold it to my grandfather later on down the road. Originally an inline 6 and 3-speed truck, it was swapped out to a 350 with a turbo 400. When my grandpa passed away it sat in his shop yard for years until we decided to do a frame off about 2 years ago. I never got to meet my grandpa because he passed before I was born so this is a special truck to me ... read more >>

1978 Ford F150-Kevin F.

I went on the search for an old ford pickup when I was 14 years old and after buying, fixing, and totaling my first pickup. With the help of my father, we found this 1978 ford f150 400m 2wd in a small town about an hour away from our family farm. In 2010 we went down there and paid $400 for it and drove it home and immediately started tearing into it to make it my own. Over the years, the truck has gone through many phases and been sort of an automotive experiment for me to try different things ... read more >>

1968 Chevy C10 – Charlie T.

My first truck was a 1968 Chevy c10 had it for about 4 years. I got hard up for money and sold it and it broke my heart. I had so many plans for that truck, but life happens. Now I'm older and more stable in my finances. I finally found another c10 and the thing I always want for the first truck is all coming back to me and I love it

1965 Ford F100-Chris B.

My son Mason, who just turned 16, saved his money and bought a 1965 Ford F100. While it has been repainted (a long time ago) and has a newer carburetor, it's still in mostly original condition. It is automatic, has power steering and a dealer-optional installed AC! Mason loves working on cars and trucks with me, and this is our newest project together. I'm looking forward to all of the time we'll get to spend together making great memories.

1978 Chevy K2500 – Tyler S.

This is my Grandpas first new truck he ever bought and when I was a kid I learned how to drive stick and haul grain wagons with it! Around 2005 he let it sit in the barn and kind of retired the truck! So I asked him one day if I could have the truck! He said no at first then a few weeks later he asked when I was going to come to pick up the truck! My eyes lit up and I was there the next day with the wrecker and started tearing down! Took about a ... read more >>

1969 Chevy C10 – Ronald L.

I purchased this truck after the loss of my brother and with the help of my son's we came up with this beautiful 69 Chevy. It took about 2yrs but with a lot of time and money invested but with the help of LMC they made the rebuild so much easier with all the hard to find parts in one catalog.

1979 Ford F100-Bryan C.

Bryan found this 1979 Ford F100 on a Craigslist ad. The previous owner was selling the engine and drivetrain with a “free truck”. Bryan fell in love with the low quality picture. They drove an hour and a half south to negotiate the deal. Bryan talked the previous owner into cutting his price in half. Thirty minutes later they were driving back home. While on the turnpike the MSD ignition stopped for no reason shooting a fireball out the back at Bryan’s girlfriend, who was following him in their Camry. She immediately called him to say, “Told ya so!” Bryan ... read more >>

1978 Ford F150-Kate W.

I inherited my dad's 1978 F150 Custom a couple years ago after he passed away. I recently had it completely restored, after shipping it from NC to Denver, where I live now in order to be close to the restoration process. I grew up with this truck my entire life, learned to drive it since I was 5 sitting on my dad'd lap. My dad was a trucker for 40 years & a country man, so I kept his favorite accessories, a CB, 8.5 ft cb antenna, & his gun rack. This truck only has 83k miles since he locally ... read more >>

1974 Chevy Custom Deluxe 10 – Bryant J.

My trucks story dates way back to when I was 15 years old. It was gifted to me by my late uncle/godfather who was a car enthusiast and retired auto body technician. The truck started out as just a first timer vehicle to drive between farms and school, and not long after I started chatting with my uncle about restoring it, deal was he would teach and help me do bodywork and I would go school for auto tech to repair so we started laying it all out on the table.  In two short years and many weekend trips ... read more >>

1956 Chevy-Ryan B.

This is my 1956 Chevy Model 3600. I have never seen another longbed 3/4 ton 1956 model with all original, numbers matching, running gear. I purchased the truck in the Spring of 2013 from an elderly gentleman in Rockdale Texas. We pulled it out of his barn where it had sat since 1985. Prior to letting it sit, the previous owner had covered up the rust and original yellow paint with a roll on primer that was covering many years of neglect. A steel plate had been welded into the bed, the floors/cab corners/and front fender corners were rotten and ... read more >>
