1959 Ford F350 – John D.

I found this truck in Oregon and after a lot of emails and photos, I bought it and had it shipped to Michigan. The truck looked great in the pictures, but you know how that goes. After looking it over very well, there is more rust than I expected. Well, I have never totally restored a complete vehicle, so here I go. I'm lucky that LMC Truck has most of the parts I will need. I'm now taking the cab off and having it sandblasted and then I'll repair all the rust in the floors. I'll also rebuild the ... read more >>

1951 Ford F1 – Ron T.

OUR 51 – F1 TRUCK The truck's life started as a shop truck in a gas station in Santa Ana, California. How it made its way to Northern California, we do not know. We found the truck in the backyard of a friend of ours. He had a collection of cars, which most were complete. However, this truck was far from complete. The front end was sitting on a pallet in a pile of mud. The hood was removed and placed next to it. Along with 30 years of patina, rust, flat tires, and a non-functioning motor, we decided ... read more >>

1996 Ford Bronco – Slim S.

From the first time I saw it as a Ford technician, I fell in love with the '92 truck body style. After many years, I left the industry due to all the technology advances. I finished out my working years as an OTR driver. Now retired, I still love the old stuff and I don't want them to die. I found this all original (including the original sales document) '96 Bronco in New Mexico and gave it a new life. It is my fifth restoration (three F150s and two Broncos). It is my best one yet. I'm always looking ... read more >>

1967 Ford F250 – Cheynne C.

My truck story starts many years ago when I was younger and was given my first Ford truck! Fast forward to now, I’ve had countless Ford trucks and even run a custom restoration shop full time, all because of that first truck. Now, I have a really cool 1967 F250 shop truck that I built, saved from a field it had been sitting in for over 20 years (I was told). I cleaned and scrubbed all the rat filth out and restored the gauges, added a carpet kit, and scored a factory super clean bench seat at a local ... read more >>

1992 Ford F250 – Kendal S.

My career was in the auto salvage business, where most of our inventory was purchased from insurance companies as total losses. This truck was stolen off a dealer’s lot and the engine removed. Since it was brand new (it had clocked 10 miles) they counted it as a total. I bought it from the insurance company and sold it to my father-in-law. He subsequently, over the next few years, installed a Cummins 5.9 diesel engine in the truck. The truck was hardly ever driven other than short local rides. Fast forward a few years to 2022, when my father-in-law, ... read more >>

1969 Ford F100 – Kyle J.

It was passed through the family and I wanted to bring it back to life. It took two complete years to get it road-ready and the memories it brings back with the entire family... The truck is two months older than I am and it will be passed on as well. Thank you LMC, you had everything to bring it back to life.

1986 Ford F150 – Zachary G.

In 1986, Robert Donald "Donnie" Reed bought this truck from Red McCombs Ford in San Antonio, Texas. Robert Donald Reed served gallantly in the 101st Airborne "Screaming Eagles" during the Vietnam War. His military service included his passion of repairing and working on vehicles and engines of all makes and sizes. After his military service, Donnie owned and operated D&P Automotive on FM 1283 in Pipe Creek, Texas, until his retirement in 2005. This 1986 F-150 Styleside Supercab Pickup Truck with a 5.0L 302 CID EFI V-8 Engine was assembled two days ahead of schedule on January 11, 1986 ... read more >>

1990 Ford Bronco – Jesse D.

I found this '90 Bronco for sale in Las Vegas. It was a two-tone brown, all stock. It looked good from 50 feet. 5.8 ran perfectly. I thought it would be a good project for my father and I. It took a little convincing, because he is a Chevy guy. We removed the engine, replaced all seals and gaskets, new timing cover, gears and chain, and water pump. Anyone that has worked on these engines has probably seen the long bolts that go through water pump and timing cover into the block break, get stuck in timing cover. Also ... read more >>

1978 Ford F150 – Christian R.

In November, I went to do an inspection for a roof and saw the truck that was sitting in a driveway for a long time. I asked the homeowner if he want to sell the truck. He said maybe, I offered $8k for it and he sold to me. I have all the documents from the day it was originally ordered to get built to the delivery date. The first owner purchased the truck in January 1978 and got delivered in the spring of '78 and he owned the truck until his death. The second owner, who I purchased ... read more >>

1992 Ford F150 – Greg H.

We were looking for a vehicle for our oldest daughter just turning sixteen. A friend told us about his father’s 5.0 liter V8 Ford F150 located in a small Kansas town near the geographic center of the nation. His father purchased it new in 1992 and had used it daily for ten years. His father passed away some months earlier and his mother was looking for a good home for this cherished truck. We never factored in a truck as the first vehicle for our daughter, but it was love at first sight for Rachel. Despite showing signs of ... read more >>

1984 Ford F150 – Michael M.

I worked on the Ford assembly line in Kansas City (Claycomo) for 32 years. One day in 1984, I took the day off to walk this truck down the line. We built it for my uncle who worked upstairs in data processing. He retired and used the truck to move to Scottsdale, Arizona. After several years, I acquired the truck and now it's back in the Kansas City area with 99,000 miles. Thanks.
