1970 Ford F100 – Kelsey G.

I wanted to share the attached pictures with you to join the LMC family. I bought my 1970 F100 from a co-worker about 6-7 years ago with no real intention of doing much with it- mostly just a dump truck. It ran fine with a just few minor hiccups here and there every once in a while, nothing that my dad couldn't fix for me. He started to mention it was feeling a little "loose" and we should try and look into doing some work on it and clean it up. I ignored him for a while, but then ... read more >>

1999 Ford F150 – Stephen B.

From time to time, I buy cars and trucks from the online auction to fix and flip. I specifically look for stuff with blown engines and/or transmissions. I bought this '99 F150 with a supposedly bad transmission. I decided I wanted to keep the truck and do a full restoration because I always wanted to restore something. Anything! The truck is a standard cab and 8-foot bed, which you don't see a lot of these days. It's gonna take me forever because I'm retired and don't have a lot of money. I plan to continue car flips to pay ... read more >>

1961 Ford F100 – Sherry R.

Years ago, while driving around in a small Ohio town, I noticed this old truck at a local car wash. Thinking of how cool this old beauty looked, I pulled in and struck up a conversation with the owner. By the time we were done taking about this truck, I ended our conversation with leaving my name and phone number in the event this 1961 F100 would ever be for sale. This truck is a 3 on the tree with a 223 straight six and appears to be original. Little did I know, years later I would get that ... read more >>

1998 Ford F150 – Linda C.

I bought it new in 1998. 50th anniversary edition out of Kansas City. $22,000 new. 108,000 miles. I just purchased an alternator, so he's no longer all original under the hood. The kindest thing I've done is replace the headlights. The truck looks better and I see better. Mechanic has me searching for a new center console that is not warped and expanding. I am that 79-year-old lady who babies her truck. You know, the gal the other guys buy the truck from. But not yet.

1969 Ford F250 – Alan A.

My truck is a '69 F250 which came from AZ 29 years ago, now living in NY. In AZ, she worked on a ranch. My dad traded an '83 New Yorker and 300 dollars. Then, I claimed it when I was 14. I'm 43 now. Well, in '08 I had to park her in my garage because brakes and lights went out, I couldn't even afford to survive, let alone fix it. In 2020, I got her running, moved out of its grave spot. Needless to say, this truck cruises a lot and many car shows. Next spring, it's ... read more >>

1992 Ford F150 – Monnie F.

This truck was purchased new by my uncle in 1992. He used it primarily for his business. He and his brother owned their own mill and fixtures business in San Antonio, Texas. He and my aunt owned several cars and trucks throughout their lifetime – always a Ford product. They started out with, what I remember as a young boy, a 1951 Ford Fairlane 2-door black and shiny chrome complete with fender skirts, curb feelers (remember those?) and a steering wheel knob. Another neat Ford I remember them driving was a 1964 Thunderbird, light blue outside, dark blue interior ... read more >>

1979 Ford F150 – Mike W.

In 1979, I was 2 and my parents bought a brand new Supercab F150 shortbed. I started driving it at age 11. My Dad and Grandfather taught me how to drive in it. I drove it all through High School. In 1993, me and my Dad started customizing it, but in 1995 he had a stroke and wasn't able to work or drive ever again. Just so happens that same week I had an accident in the truck. It took a major hit and it has been setting for many years now. During that time, I have been saving ... read more >>

1956 Ford F100 – Clay G.

I found the truck on Craigslist, it was a fire victim of the California forest fires the summer before last. So, as you can imagine, it was burned top to bottom and required a lot of work to rescue this torched truck. Then, a friend asked if I was going to 4 wheel drive it, my immediate response was no but then, I got to thinking and exploring the web and came to the conclusion that putting a AWD 5.0 Explorer under it would be the way to go. So, I picked up a 2001 AWD 5.0 V8 Ford ... read more >>

1979 Ford F150 – Rylan K.

Well, this is my baby. She was my father's high school truck. She’s a 1979 Ford F150 Ranger XLT single cab, long bed with an engine swap 351 modified for a big block 400. She’s been through a lot, she needs a lot of work. I just got her back the other day. My dad was desperate for some quick cash when he was in college, so he sold it to his brother in law. His brother in law became attached to it, he didn’t want to let it go, he loved it, but he wanted me to have ... read more >>

1978 Ford F250 – Adam S.

Me and my dad custom picked and ordered the truck, 3/4 ton with 1 ton suspension (he didn’t want to pay the extra taxes for 1 ton) 4x4, flat bed dump with a snow plow and 2-barrel carb. He loved to save gas! He had it for 7 years and only put 6,000 miles on it. Then, he gave it to my brother, who put 3,000 miles on it. Then, my brother sold it to my buddy who put 150,000 hard miles on it with a tree cutting service. Then, he sold it to me in 1997 for 500 ... read more >>

1978 Ford F250 – Beau M.

I found this beauty in 2010 and had to fix it up! My father had the exact same 1977 version, but was sadly lost in an accident in 2009. I brought this truck home and made it as close to the one I grew up in as possible. Now my children can have the same wonderful memories as I did! All thanks to LMC Truck!
