1978 Ford F150 – Anthony S.

I did a frame-off restoration, using 90% LMC parts. This truck has been in Colorado its whole life. I put a 429 in it. It has a NP435 for speed and a 205 transfer. The truck sits on Cooper SST 35/12.5/15 with US MAGs wheels, 6-inch Spring lift, ladder bars from L&L and through the fender L&L long tube headers. It was a challenge to get parts, but you guys came through, so big Blue could rule the road once more.

1995 Ford F150 – Bradley C.

I bought this truck in 2017, I’m the second owner. In 2020, I pulled it in the shop and started tearing it down. I repainted the frame and the entire truck was restored from the ground up! This truck had an amazingly straight body and frame and little to no rust! I now daily drive it and love being in the driver's seat of this truck! I can’t go anywhere without someone giving me a compliment or wanting to buy it! This truck also has the original motor and transmission with 240,000 miles! It has the 302 5.0L v8 ... read more >>

1985 Ford F250 – David H.

In 2021, I was recovering from a bout with cancer. I decided to give the interior a good face lift since time had taken a toll on the original. After giving the interior a good face lift, I was telling my wife of 50 years that the exterior was now looking dingy. We went out to the truck together and she said, "you're right, it does need a good facelift". I told her it would take some time to accomplish and she turned to me and said, "you better get started, you are 70 years old and not getting ... read more >>

1985 Ford F150 – Judie M.

Okay, long story short... About 20 years ago, with the help of my brother, I restored a 1981 F150 Shortbed/stepside... Didn't insure it correctly, got t-boned on a highway and totaled it:)... So, the guys at work, without my knowing, spent time researching to find me another one and located a 1985 F150 Shortbed/stepside near my home. It needed A LOT more attention than the '85, but it was right up my alley. So, I purchased it for $2,500.00 and started making a list of what I needed... Starting with a complete overhaul of the engine, straight six ('81 ... read more >>

1955 Ford F100 – Phil H.

I saw this old truck beside the road, so I decided to see what it was. I looked at it from the car and my wife said, "aren't you going to get out and look it over?" I said "I guess I can". She said go make an offer. I couldn't believe what she said. Well, we agreed on a price and drove it home. It was pretty solid, but needed a lot of work. With the help of LMC Truck, a lot of money, and many hours of work and 6 years, it's pretty complete. I will probably ... read more >>

1995 Ford F150 – James E.

I bought this truck when I was 16 with my dad for $1,800. It was in rough shape when we got it. Throughout the years of putting some time and hard work in and a big help from LMC Truck, I finally got it the way I always wanted. I’ve daily driven this truck for 5 years since high school and has never missed a beat.

1986 Ford F150 – John L.

I bought my truck brand new at Red McCombs Ford in San Antonio, Texas, in late 1986. He was my first new vehicle purchase and I still own him today. He's an LX model, 351 HO, C6 Trans, 4x4 short bed with just a little over 100k miles on it. He's been a great truck and despite some of what I put him through, has never let me down. I had thought of selling him a few years back for a new truck and started working on him, mostly cosmetic stuff that led into some minor mechanicals. As I ... read more >>

1952 Ford F1 – Kevin M.

Welcome to my 1952 Mercury 5 Star M1 truck... She is a beauty. It took about about year and half to complete. If it wasn't for my awesome buddy Wayne at Brander Auto Customs in Abbotsford, BC, she still would be sitting in the garage. Running an LS 5.3 injected and 4 L/60 transmission. Sitting on a Chevy S-10 frame. Yeah, yeah, I know, it's Chevy on Mercury/Ford body, but I love it and we get plenty of thumbs up.

1950 Ford F1 – Jorge L.

One day, I was working in a neighborhood when I passed by a house and an older gentleman was sitting in his garage just starring at his 1950 F1 Ford truck. I stopped and asked him if I could take a look at it. Well, he said yes and also asked me if I was interested in buying it off of him. I responded to him “Depending on the price”, he laughed and well, we both had two different prices in mind, but they were nowhere near close. But we stayed in contact and it took us 3 months ... read more >>

1954 Ford F100 – Tom M.

Well, I've been living in the same house since 1978. A new neighbor moved in around 1998, little did I know he had two trucks sitting under his lean to I never new about until about 2 years ago. One day he came over an ask me if I was interested in a couple of old trucks, I said "what ya have?" We went and looked and boy, was I surprised being the cat guy I am 😮. So, I ended up buying both, a '53 and a '54, they had been sitting for 22 years. I towed them ... read more >>

1970 Ford F100 – John B.

I had to think hard about this story. There were two reasons on how and why this truck got restored. One was John's reason, it just needed to be done because he wanted to put it in the parade. My reason was because he has been battling cancer for 18 years. I wanted to give him something to enjoy while he continued his fight. John is the second owner of this truck. His son and daughter both learned how to drive manual with it. He mostly used the truck to move compost, mulch, and yard trimmings. When I got ... read more >>

1996 Ford F150 – Andrew P.

This is my first car/truck. I am a 17-year-old senior at South Warren High School in Bowling Green, KY. My parents gave me this truck on my 15th birthday with the conditions that the truck had to be restored before I could drive it. My dad and grandfather have restored a few Mustangs but never a truck so it was a good family challenge for all of us. The 5.0L engine ran fine but leaked oil, so we pulled it, freshened it up with some new gaskets, oil pump, E303 roller cam, long tube headers, and a chrome powder ... read more >>

1970 Ford Bronco – Mike B.

I’ve loved the old Broncos since I was a kid. My dad had a short bed Ford truck, but I was too young to drive it. I tried the Jeep thing, lifted it, etc, it just didn’t do it for me. I had to have a Red Bronco. As a Firefighter, red was my go-to color. I searched high and low for a half cab. Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, etc. Then one day on the internet “The One Popped up “ South Dakota I headed. Funny thing is, the Bronco was at a Subaru dealership!! The owner was building old-school ... read more >>

1994 Ford F250 – Ross D.

We have had this truck since new in 1994. It has never been used very hard, always just a spare pickup on the farm and has 86,000 miles on it today. A couple years ago my dad and I decided it needed fixed up. So, we decided to give it a new paint job. We swapped the colors, so that the white was in the middle of the two-tone and used “Ford Racing Red” which is used on Ford Mustangs. We then bought a set of aluminum wheels and new tires. Now, this pickup can stay in our family ... read more >>
