I did a frame-off restoration, using 90% LMC parts. This truck has been in Colorado its whole life. I put a 429 in it. It has a NP435 for speed and a 205 transfer. The truck sits on Cooper SST 35/12.5/15 with US MAGs wheels, 6-inch Spring lift, ladder bars from L&L and through the fender L&L long tube headers. It was a challenge to get parts, but you guys came through, so big Blue could rule the road once more.
I bought this truck in 2017, I’m the second owner. In 2020, I pulled it in the shop and started tearing it down. I repainted the frame and the entire truck was restored from the ground up! Welcome to my 1952 Mercury 5 Star M1 truck... She is a beauty. It took about about year and half to complete. We have had this truck since new in 1994. It has never been used very hard, always just a spare pickup on the farm and has 86,000 miles on it today.
