The “BEAR” Prior to the ’59 Apache 3200 Longbed, I had owned every kind of muscle car, some even twice, since I was 16 years old. So when the time came that I was looking for my next car, my wife Lori asked if I ever considered a truck since all I ever owned were cars. She saw several at various local car shows and expressed how much she liked that they were a different part of American car history. So, our first truck purchase was a 1953 stock “off the farm” truck that I won on an eBay ... read more >>
It all started at a very young age with an interest in all things mechanical. For my 16th birthday I given a brand new 1984 Chevy C10 stepside. Within a year, I had completely customized it with wheels and tires, suspension, custom interior and a stereo to drive the neighbors crazy. Needless to say, I was hooked and my dad and mom were not too happy with me. Fast forward to 2014 when I found a 1955 Chevy 3100 pickup that I fell in love with. Shortly after purchasing it ,I began making it my own with new bigger ... read more >>
I’ve had 4x4s all my life. It started with an old Toyota Land Cruiser I had in high school—it was a tank. I still miss driving that thing. From there, I owned a couple of Jeep’s, and then a Chevy Tahoe. Most recently I was driving a 4Runner. One day, while home visiting family, I saw one of my dad’s neighbors had this Yukon Denali in their front yard with a “for sale” sign on it. I couldn’t get that beast out of my mind. It would be like a nicer, newer version of my Tahoe. So the next ... read more >>
My 92 S10 Blazer 4.3 Vortec I have owned a few S10 Blazers over the years, and I was lucky enough to find a vehicle so original that I can take so much pride in. From running errands to just cruising, it is by far my favorite. The design and style of this 27-year-old Blazer still stands out on the road today. And with any luck I will be able to enjoy it for many years to come.
The Orange Beauty. Whilst at a car show with my partner in Queensland, Australia......I saw this awesome truck......then I saw a 'For Sale' sign. After a little haggling it was ours. That was 2 years ago. She still turns heads when we take her out. I am unable to find her history as she was already imported to Australia and had changed hands a few times. Anyway we love her!
Need to keep going I had a stroke in 2010. I bought the truck I have now in 2001, it was 8 years old then. It is still going in 2019 although the body is rusting, the motor is still going strong. LMC has had some of the body parts I have had to replace. I have to say thank you and hopefully as I keep this going as I can not afford a newer one as yet they can help me keep the one I have road worthy.
LOVE MY CHEVY K-10 TRUCK In 1989 I started looking for a short bed 4×4 Chevy truck with the least amount of body issues, that I could tinker with & fulfill my dream. It needed inside work, the body had a minimal amount of rust, & the motor needed to be rebuilt. ~No problem, I thought. ~It has been a work of love putting it together as I saw it in my mind. I started with the motor, I took it from a straight 6-250 bored over to equal a 289 or a 305. It has an edelbrock intake, ... read more >>
I have always loved cars and trucks. I have a 1954 Chevy belair that I love. I had been looking for a 1954 Chevy truck for awhile. I found this one this summer. I bought it and finished it off. I have taken it to three car/truck shows and it won a trophy at each show. It is going to be in a calendar next year.
I had one of these as my first truck. Sold it when times got tough. After a number of years, I started looking for one to rebuild. Finally found one, and spent the next three years putting it together. Thanks to LMC, it’s finally near completion.
