I bought this F150 brand new at 17 years old and it has been my daily driver ever since. I have done so much to this vehicle over the years, it would be hard to list it all. I am very happy a place like LMC Truck exists to help keep this vehicle going and looking good. 1987 was the first year of a new body style and EFI. After a couple hundred thousand miles, I installed a Ford Motor Sport cobra 5.0 shortblock, Edelbrock upper and lower intake, Alum Turbo swirl heads and all the cobra parts to go along with it. Through its life, it has received: Rancho lift 2.5 inch with traction bars and Rancho shocks, 33 10.50 15 tires, Bassani headers and Y-pipe hi flow cat and dueled the exhaust out back. Rhino bed liner in the early 90’s, A/C from Arizona Mobile Air, 3G alternator from PA Performance, temp compass rear view mirror, 100W KC 6×9’s, 150W 6 inch rounds, large radiator, stuck with the C6 trans, had it 100% re-built at the time of the engine install. I also installed the FMS mass air conversion kit at the time of the new motor install along with new injectors, and ended up re-wiring the kit so it was fully sequential since it was wired to work with the batch fire. I have another 40k miles on the new setup over the last 19 years. Upgraded to the Lariat interior, power windows and locks, seat, instrument cluster with tach, as well as the powerpoint 12 volt connector in the dash. Still original paint. I also just installed a bed cover this winter and really like it. It is a 3 panel folding Trifecta 2.0 cover, fits well, works great. I can’t wait to see what the next 30+ years will bring. I should probably buy stock in LMC Truck!
