The ’76 was given to me by my employer, it was originally orange and white. I had taken it to a couple body shops to get estimates to restore, but couldn’t afford to have it professionally done so I decided to try it myself. With a little advice from a local body shop, it was soon ready for paint. After getting quotes to have it painted, I realized that I was going to be painting it myself, I had never painted before. The same local body shop told me to bring it in some Saturday and he would let me use his paint booth and make sure I did it right. It turned out great! Big thanks to Joe at Autocraft. My son bought a ’74 and we repainted it blue and white, he later sold it for enough money to pay for his schooling.
