I’ve had many Mustangs and other blue oval cars in my time, but this little F150 means a lot to me. Me and my father built this truck. My dad was not needing another truck (he owns 2) and definitely not another project, but he got into this project for me. You see, I had hit a low spot in my life and without telling a sad story, I’m just going to say I’ve been sober for several years and this pickup was his version of rehabilitation. This truck project helped our relationship and kept me occupied at the same time. It started as a well-used work truck, but had no rust. So, we tackled it and it became a labor of love. I have future plans of big tires, big motor, and sitting low. Right now, it’s a good driver. She is mechanically sound and looks pretty good so we are going to leave it be and finish some other projects, but I thought I’d share it with you guys.
