These trucks belonged to my Grandparents, Josephine and Garfield.  They lived on a little farm in Pinetown North Carolina.

My grandma purchased the red truck in 2001.  I believe she was the second owner.  She was an avid gardener and loved being outside.  She drove the truck to work, and to get flowers and other garden supplies, and kept her truck under the pole shelter.

My grandfather bought the blue truck in 2002 and put many miles on it.  He was very particular about his stuff, so the truck was taken well care of.  He also enjoyed being outside, and over the years he converted several acres of farm land into yard with a large goldfish pond on the property that he mostly dug by shovel.  He could outwork a teenager.

Unfortunately, both of them have passed away now and the truck sat for several years under the pole barn mostly untouched.  I was excited to be able to get them and start working on restoring them so I can pass them on to my children one day.

My son Alex is now 6 years old and he is already a classic vehicle enthusiast.  Both of my children love the jump seats in the ’96.  These vehicles will continue to serve as a reminder of simpler times and will always be cherished.
