We bought this truck new in 1990.  My wife drove it for about 4 years, and when our son reached driving age, he drove the truck to high school.  The truck eventually ended up at our ranch and was there for 20 years.  The last 4 years, the truck wasn’t running due to a dead oil pump.  About 2 years ago, my son’s daughter (our granddaughter) asked me if we could get the truck running because she would like to drive it when she got her license.

Since that time, the truck has received a new 350 Cid-350HP Chevy crate engine, a new transmission, had the transfer case and rear end rebuilt, new tires and brakes, and received a new paint job by the Paint & Body teacher at our local junior college.  It has a new dash, new instrument panel, new carpet, new headliner, new radio, new window and hard top seals, all from LMC Truck.  My granddaughter will start driving in November 2021, and our plan is for her to drive it through high school, then her little brother will take it over in 5 years and drive it to high school as well.
