Long Time Ride

1964 C20, 283, four speed, heavy duty. Bought in 1966 in Los Angeles. Moved to the Colorado mountains. Became a worker, carried logs to saw, fire wood for sale, heavy loads of native stone and near everything else, including my camper into the high country. Gramma low gear can get you most anywhere. Gained 16″ wheels and caps on a GM split rim recall. Moved back to California overworked, beat up, and in sad shape. With LMC body parts, welded, hammered, Bondo’d, shaped, paneled and painted back to form. He now sits in sunny San Diego, lookin’ good.
