Family Heirloom 1969 F-100

This is my 1969 FORD F-100. It belonged to my grandparents for the majority of it’s existence. They had a camper on the back and used it to pull their 1969 Aristocrat Lo-Liner camping trailer. I remember many wonderful camping trips from my youth, where Grandpa and Grandma joined us with this truck and trailer.
The truck wasn’t used for much else, so it didn’t acquire very many miles. Eventually they stopped camping as it became too much work for them to enjoy it.
About 10 years ago my brothers and I purchased the Aristocrat as a hunting trailer. Over time I ended up buying out my brothers and eventually became the sole owner. About that time I also purchased the Pickup from Grandpa. I had put a bug in his ear, letting him know that if he ever decided he didn’t need a truck anymore that I was his guy. In 2013, at the age of 93 he finally decided that it was time to sell it. I couldn’t have been more happy.
At the time the truck had 51K original miles. It is an F-100 2wd Custom Cab with the 360 V8 and automatic transmission and It has the dealer option under dash A/C.
Since owning it I have thoroughly cleaned it, powder coated the wheels and upgraded to a 4 barrel intake with Fi-Tech fuel injection. I have upgraded the front brakes to Wilwood discs and converted the A/C system to run on modern refrigerant. The interior is in immaculate condition and the paint and body are incredible.
I am so fortunate to own this piece of family history and it, along with the trailer will continue to bring my family much enjoyment for years to come.
This truck is a part of our family legacy, and I have a son who is eager to take it on as his own once the time comes.
Thanks,
Jeremiah
