The New “Old Pickup” For Our 5 Year Old Son!

We purchased our 1953 truck from the family of the original owner in January of 2019. After searching for a restoration shop that we felt could bring our vision of restoring our pickup truck back to the day it rolled off the assembly line, we began the enormous task of full frame off restoration in March of 2019. It took 22 Months to complete and every nut and bolt was either refurbished or replaced. Our vision was to pass this down to our 5 year old son, when he is old enough to drive. For now we enjoy weekend drives to the ice cream store, allowing everyone that sees it to stop for family photos, and we were blessed to let our church use our truck as the focal point this holiday season for all of the Christmas services touching over 4000 families.
