My dad and I initially picked this truck up in 2015 for about 500 bucks, after it had sat under a tree for a number of years. Initially we just wanted to wake up the tired old 350 with a new set of heads, cam and intake manifold, but as time passed, we couldn’t resist a throaty exhaust and a cam with a little more lift. Later we ended up adding a built transmission and rear end, lowered it 4″ in the front and rear, and then focused on the interior and body. That’s where LMC really came in handy, as its hard to find new parts for these trucks. This truck was never intended to be a hot rod when we bought it, but we must’ve had influence from my dad’s college days of hot rodding cars, because the next thing I did was build a 500HP 383 Stroker. I still daily drive it and it still turns heads everywhere I go. This truck has been an amazing opportunity to bond with my dad and I plan on keeping this truck forever. Without LMC, it would’ve been a lot more difficult to bring this truck back to life.
