In Memory of My Father

I inherited this Chevrolet S10 4×4 Blazer in October of 2018 after the passing of my Dad. He purchased this vehicle brand new in 1989. It has the original 4.3 (throttle body injected) V6 with the 700r4 overdrive transmission. The interior, upholstery and carpet are all original and still look nice. It has 157,900 miles on it and is running pretty strong after I gave it a full tune up and replaced the ECM. Dad loved this Blazer and drove it for 28 years. He always kept it garaged when he wasn’t driving it, so overall it is in good shape, however, there was still a lot of parts that needed to be replaced (after thirty years of use). I didn’t really know where to start as far as finding OEM parts (since I wanted to keep it all original) until a good friend of mine told me about the LMC Truck site. Once I accessed the site I knew the restoration was on. I’ve replaced numerous parts from bumper to bumper but still have much more I want to do such as the front and rear suspension. It’s an ongoing project, but one that I enjoy..
