It was in the year of 2000. A long time friend of mine had, to the eye of many people an old ran down 1962 Chevrolet C10 pick up truck. My friend was getting rid of his fathers truck. When I first laid eyes on this truck I immediately connected with it. I saw the end results verses the current state that the truck was in.
Yes, Of course I new I was getting myself into a long journey and process investing time, money and dedication, but my end results was always in the forefront of my mind. My goal was to revive and restore this classic truck.
Needless to say, as I began to first outline my plans brainstorming on what I wanted to invest in the truck, what parts I needed to replace, what needed to be reupholstered, what needed to be updated and what color I wanted the truck to be, I found that time wasn’t waiting. So I began this journey of restoring my 1962 Chevrolet.
Days turned into weeks, weeks turned into months, months turned into years and yes sometimes I felt that the process was longer than what I intended.
Today, 20 years later in the year of 2020, I’m excited to share my journey and experience of turning what once looked like an old, dull useless truck into the beauty it is today. A Total restoration has taken place on my classic 1962 Chevrolet C10 Pick Up Truck. Time plus dedication equaled THIS CLASSIC BEAUTY.
