Who Knew

I grew up in New Jersey, being a car lover and model builder since I was about 6 years old. Moved to Tennessee in my late twenty’s and slowly but surely I was bit by the truck bug! Bought my 1997 GMC c1500 from my boss’s father, who was the original owner and an Alabama native. He took great care of the truck but because of his wife’s aging needed to sell it. My boss sold it to me for a very reasonable price considering the condition and low miles.
Well long story short, 9.5 years later after lots of blood, sweat and tears and passion I have MY truck slightly customized and, I believe, tastefully done! I devoted the project to my grandfather Adam, who past away when I was only a child but I have very fond memories of him and remember the GMC panel truck which he used for his electrician business.
It was repainted the original Olympic White and the stripes are painted a custom orange with gold pearl. A true University of Tennessee truck. But I will be honest that was not the idea here…… just a coincidence, nothing against UT.
