Front Yard Find

My story starts in 2000 when I got a company truck that was 2wd. I had owned 4×4’s for a while and thought I’d look for an old used beater to take hunting and four wheeling. I looked at ads and car shopper magazines to no avail. Then one day, I drove a different way home from work and spotted this l less than perfect 1976 Highboy, a little rusty but not too bad… No for sale sign, just sitting there. So I got the courage to go past the chained up Bulldog and knock on the front door… “That ol’ truck for sale?”.. Blank stare, “Wadda ya give me for it?” Anyway We settled on a price and I drove it home, barely, smoking like crazy. Parked it and heard this hissing sound, two tires were leaking (all four were dry rotted) odometer read 64,000 which turned out to be actual miles documented on the title. After quite a few dollars spent over the last twenty years, she has turned into a priceless family heirloom. I have a 97 f250 and a 94 F150, that are my daily drivers and 79 bronco an 72 f250 4 x 4 projects. My 76 is mine and my wife’s favorite. Hope You Like It
