My granddaddy bought this truck brand new in 1996. I remember getting up early in the summertime every Saturday morning to go with him to the flea market and hang out with all the old military guys and listened to their stories. We would go everywhere together in the truck. Shortly after he installed the running boards and the lights. Well my granddaddy started getting older to where he could not get in the truck anymore so he traded my dad for his Toyota Tacoma. My dad and I went through six or seven states with boy scouts and pulling the sailboat on long trips down to Florida and as far as Maine. The truck has ALWAYS done great, not once has it left us on the side of the road! When I received my Eagle scout my dad gave me the option to get stacks or straight pipe well I didn’t want to ruin the look of the truck. I drove the truck off and on through out high school. This past year my dad surprised me and gave me the truck! I was beyond Happy!! This truck has SO MANY memories behind it. Everywhere we have to be gone with the truck people always ask if it’s for sale. This past week some one asked me and I told him if you can bring back all the memories you can have it. He responded I can’t. I said then I can’t sell the truck. 1996 F250 7.3 diesel only 146k all original besides running boards and straight pipe.
