All In The Family

The green truck is a 1972 F-250 that my Grandfather bought new in 1972 as a retirement gift to himself to pull a 1972 fifth wheel camper. It pulled the camper to the southern tip of Texas from Cheyenne, Wyoming for several years and even pulled it to Acupolco, Mexico in 1975. He drove it until 2002 and then gave it to me. Other than the normal maintenance and cleaning, it is still a stock truck with no aftermarket parts and has factory interior and paint and is not perfect but original..
The White truck is a 1978 that was built in November of 1977 and is a factory F-150 Lariet with a 460, My Dad bought it as the second owner and used it to pull a camper. After a minor wreck on the bedsides it sat in a barn for 10 years until I went and got it. It now has been lowered 3″ in the front with dream beams and 5″ in the rear with LMC lowering kit. The paint is still just primer/sealer and the body work on the bed is not complete bit I put it together to be able to get it out this summer.
