The Family Legacy

“The Family Legacy C-10” is a 1972 C-10 Chevrolet Cheyenne that was purchased by my Great Grandparents on March 8,1972. The truck has always been a part of our family, including being owned by my Uncle and then my Grandpa. When I turned 16, my Grandpa passed the truck down to me.

My original goal for this truck was a full on frame up restoration, but then my career goals changed and the truck was left disassembled and sat for many years outside in a field and in my brothers garage.

In December 2018, my Grandfather lost his battle with cancer. After his passing, my goal was to get back to my plans of restoring the truck and it on the road.

With over two and a half years into the restoration, and tons of help from friends and family, the truck is finally back on the road and ready for cruising. The original red orange color stands out on the road and tons of original parts remain on the truck today.

I hope my Great Grandparents, Uncle, and Grandpa would be proud of the truck today and that it’s finally back on the road ready to make more memories on the road with my family.
