My Truck Story Is Just Beginning

My brother passed away in June. As a tradesman, his truck was expected to work and play as hard as he did. Whether it was hauling drywall to the rental property or hauling the pontoon boat to the Gulf, it was always with purpose.

To some of us, a truck is more than utility, more than transportation. It is an office, a shelter, a tool, and a faithful companion. Roy Rogers had Trigger. The Lone Ranger had Silver. Shaggy has Scooby. My brother had this bare-bones 1993 Dodge D250 – standard cab, bench seat, rubber flooring, crank windows, “granny gear” manual transmission, and the legendary “1st Gen” Cummins Diesel. He traveled the Southeast US, from one commercial construction site to another, bringing this ever-faithful rusted piece of home with him.

The restoration of this truck will be a small tribute to him, splashed with my own personal touches.

Project Update: Tribute Truck

5.9L 12-valve Cummins Turbo Diesel. Getrag 360 5-speed Granny Gear manual. Bonzai Blue Metallic (Chrysler PC3/KC3), Bright White (Chrysler code PW7).

Never would have resurrected this truck without LMC.
