Dream Truck

When I was 15 I bought a 1986 c10 rust bucket. My uncle who is a body man told me that the rust could be fixed. So we brought the truck into his shop and we tore it all apart he showed me how to do body work and how to paint. Years down the road I found myself having passion for not only c10s but also the trade. So I was working in a body shop and I had to have myself another truck. I bought a 1981 c10 shortbed step side. It sat for a few years as I gathered up parts from LMC and other used trucks. I removed the stepside bed and put on a fleetside bed. The truck kinda snow balled as I wanted to do a 5.3 fuel injected swap into the truck. Well I didn’t see a point in doing all of that work and putting in a engine with 150xxx miles on it. So I sent the engine to a machine shop where the engine was rebuilt with a few goodies in it. The transmission was the same way rebuilt with tons of fun parts. When it came to the body and interior LMC was there for me the whole way. I stripped the body to bare steel done all the body work then painted the truck with candy apple red from house of kolors. I bought various parts from LMC to top off the outside and the interior of the truck. I will always thank my uncle for introducing me to the trade at a young age as it was life changing experience for me the paved the way to a awesome career.
