Father Son Project

My father bought this truck new in 1998 and started customizing it since it was new and it became a father and son project Eventually I started doing things to it as well and it became a project for us both. Giving us something to bond over and enjoy doing together. All exterior upgrades while him and I did the work. Performance upgrade to this truck was pulling the tired 305 out and dropping a GM performance HT383E engine in it. It had a new paint job in late 2018. Multiple car shows and a lot of trophies over the years and hopefully a lot more to come. Unfortunately my father passed May 10, 2018 and ever since I have been slowly working at getting it back to showing at car shows. Thankfully down to the last two things that I need to do which is the front bumper being replaced (old one is getting hazy) and new wheels (chrome peeling) and tires then the truck is back to perfect and only needing to be kept up on and maintained with the exemption of some interior work like gauge pods , repainting interior plastic and few other things. All parts were of course purchased thru LMC and working on purchasing my new front bumper in the near future.
