Southern Silverado Moves North

My wife and I drove to Pennsylvania from Rhode Island this past summer to pick up a 1990 Silverado with only 70,000 miles on it. The truck looked really nice in the ad and the seller (a Chevy dealership) assured me that the truck was an exceptionally nice vehicle that was recently traded in on a new Chevy truck by the original owner who bought the truck from the very same dealership back in 1990. Long story short, it turned out to be a total trash. Shortly after leaving the dealership I received a phone call for a 1989 Silverado that I had inquired about but had sold before my inquiry. Turned out that the seller backed out because he couldn’t arrange affordable shipping. The seller was in North Carolina but agreed to deliver the truck to Pennsylvania for a very reasonable fee. He was so confident that I would be satisfied that he didn’t accept a deposit and said if I wasn’t happy with the truck he would just drive it back to NC. Needless to say I was very happy with it.
