I have been wanting to fix / repair one of these 69 f100 for many years. I saw one for sale when I was 21 years of age (now 63) but could not afford it at the time. Many years later the urge of wanting a f100 hit me again. Now that I was able to spend cash on purchasing one I begin my mission on locating a 69 F100. Luckily I found one with minimal research and local also. I paid the seller when we reached a dollar amount and then towed her home. This was in 2011 and I am almost done with the ole classic here in 2020. Now one will have to understand that I was no body shop person or a well experienced mechanic but deed know a little about turning a wrench. I completely dissembled the truck . I knew that I was going to have to replace rusted out panels so I purchased a mig welder and taught myself using scrap metal how to weld pieces together. There was so much to replace it took two summers to get it done. Thanks LMC for the replacement panels that I needed ! There was so much done to this truck that it has taken me almost 10 years to complete. During the winter I would not work on it due to winter conditions. This truck was sometimes a love/hate relationship for me but I was determined not to give up on it. My dad who lived  200 miles away would always call and get updates on the F100. Besides showing him pictures he never saw the end results of truck. My dad was not able to travel due to his illness. He gave me a key chain for the ole truck. It has a small piece of metal on it with JR engraved on it. That is what all his friends called him. I thought that would be a good name for my F100. So, I named my truck JR after my dad . RIP dad.

Just want to thank LMC for the many parts that help me complete my Ford f100
