Love for My Father

Many years ago my dad acquired a 1957 Chevy 3200 long bed pickup that had been street rodded in California and brought to Alaska where my father came across it and purchased it. The brakes among other things were lacking much to be desired. Dad is a Vietnam Vet serving 2 tours of duty that left him with several health problems so the truck set for the most of 20 years in his garage. I to am a soldier and got back from a tour of duty in Afghanistan in 2016 at which time he loaded the 57 on a trailer and showed up on my door steps with it. At first I didnt wanna deal with a project or the world. Slowly over the past year I’ve began working on it and i’ve got a mile to go but I find myself relaxing and able to put the ways of the world in perspective when I get lost in working on it. I wanna fix this truck and give it back to my father out of appreciation for all that he has done for me and our country in his life. I don’t make a lot of money so I save up and buy a part here and there and move forward as fast as god allows me to. This truck is part of our family and is more than a old vintage piece of history, its became a bond thats a blessing. I watched a program on tv and seen your alls add and look forward to buying your products to get this old truck on the road and hopefully make some great memories with my dad.
