Borrowed Time II

After I totaled my first 85 Chevy K10 I was on the hunt to find another truck to build it bigger and better than my old. It took me awhile to find the perfect truck I wanted to start with, and just like the first one it was ready for the boneyard. That’s where the name Borrowed Time came from. I ended up picking up a ‘86 GMC Sierra Classic that needed almost every body panel. Over the next couple months me and my dad work on this truck at night after work.

I ended up installing new rocker panels, cab corners, floor pans, fenders and a rust free bed. We did all the bodywork and even painted it ourselves in my small two bay garage. I decided on going with a satin black finish for the paint, the truck came out great! I’m still continuously changing and upgrading things as I go. This was an awesome experience to be able to build my dream truck with my dad by my side!
