My father bought my 1970 C10 in 1995 when I was about a year old. The truck had been purchased in 1970 by an oil company for a fleet vehicle from a local Chevrolet dealership. Growing up my dad always pointed to the truck in the back of the shop with “Grenier Oil” logos and said to me “Someday when you’re old enough we’re going to build that truck”.

I was a sophomore in high school when my father and I rebuilt the original 350 engine. Other projects came into the shop and my truck was once again pushed back into a corner and left for many years. I began to think the truck would never be completed. After a years of sitting again we finally had the time to start on the truck again. We completed the truck in the summer of 2019.

The project brought many arguments between me and my dad but in the end I wouldn’t trade a single second of that time we spent building it. I am so grateful to my dad for the invaluable things he taught me and for giving me something I can someday share with my kids. LMC Truck allowed me to find the parts to make this truck look like it just rolled out of the factory. Thank you to my father and to LMC Truck!
