Dads ’73 D100

This 1973 D100 Custom 8ft bed 318 2 btl carb was my Dad’s truck. Dad purchased new in Newburgh, NY in late 1972 before he moved us to North Carolina. I got to pick out the Red and White color and my baby sister got the first ride with Dad. After my Dad passed, I received the truck as a gift from my Mother. I immediately began the restoration process which I have learned is never finished. I used a donor, 1973 D150 Club cab drive train 400 (rebuilt) with a torque flite 904. Replaced rear end with a 355 after rebuilding. Used ft clip and bed. Replaced the front suspension 2 years ago and it runs and drives great. New Griffin radiator exact fit. They used the radiator from the donor truck to build a all aluminum replacement. Happy that LMC has so many parts available for my Dodge. They are very scarce. LMC is my go to for all things Dodge. Love my Dad’s 73 D100. It has been a fun trip.
