Looked Good On The Surface.
I bought a 1971 Ford F-100 from a gentleman whose house caught fire. He really loved the truck but needed the money. As soon as I laid eyes on it, I wanted it. Unfortunately, I did not look underneath for rust the way I should have. The inner fenders, radiator support as well as the floor and cab mounts were trashed. Luckily he handed me my first LMC Truck catalog and I was off and running. I replaced everything that was rusted out. Me and a buddy, pulled the 2 barrel 302 and rebuilt it and added an aluminum intake an 4 barrel carb. There is still more to do but the old Ford is on her way. Thanks LMC!
