I started looking for a classic truck again after I sold my 1986 square body in 2015. I came across this on one eBay. It was in Tampa Bay, Florida at a dealership. The pictures looked great! So, around Memorial Day 2018, I flew to Tampa and purchased it. When I saw it in person, I fell in love with it. The salesman said there’s no issues with the truck. I drove it back to Texas. I had Friday and Saturday off, so away I went.

To make a long story short, it had a bad cylinder in the truck. What a drive home but I made it. After having the engine rebuilt and 3:08 gears in the rear end, the truck drives awesome. This is an original Super Cheyenne but with a 454.

Now over a year later, I’m doing my local car shows and winning awards with this baby. Everywhere I go, I get thumbs-ups and compliments on my truck. I’m still doing minor things to the truck but it’s such a pleasure to do. This is my story and I have enjoyed sharing it.
