I found this 1990 Chevy K1500 4×4 after searching for almost a year. I couldn’t believe my good fortune to have found a one owner, 110,400 miles, 4×4 with original paint, garage kept K1500. She was glorious. The owners had purchased it from the dealer, did all maintenance, and sold it back them – all these 29 years. I thank them and highly admire the care they did for this wonderful vehicle.

The truck was identical in color to my old 1988 Chevy Cheyenne K2500 longbed I drove all over the mid-west from 1988-1990. It took me cross country to live in Virginia. I was the only woman pickup truck driver at my job so we were a bit of an anomaly! I gave the truck to my neighbors who had 3 teenagers for them to drive to school. They loved it and she is a retired farm truck now. But I truly missed her and wished to find a replacement. I’m a disabled veteran, a widow of a Navy retiree – and Jack loved my old 1988 truck! Driving my “new” 1990 is like wearing comfortable work boots and wool socks warmed by fireside.
