I looked several years for a ‘slant-nose SWB’ truck…that will be 30 years ago this Labor Day.

It’s, of course, an ongoing project but its been ‘gone through’ from one end to the other and in no small part from your extraordinary parts and service.

I had it painted DuPont ‘Torch Red’ in 1991, after seeing a trailer of the new 1990 ZR1 Corvettes coming through Kentucky, and it’s never been in the rain since…always inside and covered…a Family Member.

My son was 3 years old when I bought it and rode home with me as mom followed us…. he held the carriage-head bolts down so I could buy them up when I replaced the bed with new oak.
