Bought my truck 3 years ago for $2200 from an elderly man, which was the original owner of the blazer. Its a one owner truck with only 66,542 miles on it when I purchased it. I brought it home, drove it for 2 months and then tore it all the way down to the frame and started a full restoration job. Everything from front to back top to bottom is brand new!! I have already owned 3 square body blazer and 2 square body s10 extended cabs, and have worked on vehicles most of my life. But my father Carlos Cook Sr has run his own business doing body work and paint plus mechanic. I have worked with him since a child but started working for him full time in 2003. Since I started full time he has taught my everything that he knows and still learning to this day, but since I’ve started working with him at C@B AUTO RESTORATION doing complete restoration on classic cars, I figured I would build my own street rod/ hot rod, at least that is what I consider my truck to be! I have done a frame off restoration to my 84 s10 blazer, it has a 355 motor with vortec heads, elderbrok carb, 700r4 tranny built up a little bit, with 1800 stall converter, original rear end with 373 posi trac, custom drive shaft, lowered 2 inches in front an 3 inches in rear. Dual exhaust front to back with flow master mufflers, custom 2 tone tweed interior which I did myself, other than sowing the seats, and I wrapped all interior with the same 2 tone colors, from dash all the way to headliner! I used black and light gray tweed, with cobalt blue accent, painted the dash trim, console and door handle trim cobalt blue. Which as you can tell I painted the outside of my truck cobalt blue, which also is a custom cobalt blue! I spent a little over 1 year to do the full restoration/ v8 swap to my truck, an have around 14,500 invested in it, but I’m not like your normal person. I drive my vehicle daily, drive right at 60 miles a day.. Luckily my v8 s10 blazer gets between 18 too 23 miles a gallon, 18 in town an 23 on interstate!! I have always had a dream of having a square body s10 blazer fixed up an completely restored the way i wanted since i was 16, an now i have accomplished my dream! Thanks to my loving wife Christina Cook for all the help an all the support, and being there to help when I needed it on all of those late nights, and last but not least, thanks too my DAD Carlos Cook Sr for teaching me everything I know, helping me all those late nights working on my truck and taking time away from his life to make sure my dream truck became reality!!! And thanks to LMC for having my back with every part I needed to finish my dream truck!!!

Thank you to everyone who has helped me along my journey of building my dream truck and making my dream truck become reality!!!
