Uncle Charley’s old truck sat in the garage 20 yrs. After he passed, Aunt Judy decided to part with it and gave it to me. I dragged it home with towbar since it had no brakes. It started with a lot of starter fluid to my surprise, old 283 sb. It took 2yrs to restore frame off, sandblasted frame and body, transplant a new all aluminum ls 5.3 with gm hot cam, custom intake, headers, 400th transmission, new np205 transfer case, rebuilt front and rear differentials, 4 wheel disc brakes with hydaboost, vintage air, Dakota gauges, Cheyenne interior, step side bed, oak floor with gel coat and clear coat. Painted truck Dove Gray, new rear mount fuel tank, fuel lines, brake lines, new wiring. It was fun to build this truck, especially with the help from LMC Truck, which is where I bought most all of the stuff I needed.
Thank you LMC Truck
