I bought this truck from the original owner’s wife after Chuck passed away in 1996. Chuck ordered this truck in 1977 after reading a article in Four Wheeler magazine. He ordered it loaded with nearly every available option.
The day I picked it up from Ann, I went directly to the radiator shop for a new one. It had 140,000 miles and hadn’t been maintained well but hadn’t been modified or abused.
I used it for my construction business for about 10 years before retiring it to camping, fishing, and spare vehicle.
I have added the 454 engine, ARB air locker to the DANA 60 front, Mile Marker lock out hubs, second battery, Warn winch on a removable receiver hitch up front, cable to front and rear hitch for winch. It carries my 1983 Four Wheel Grandby pop-up camper into the back country of Colorado.
