I obtained this 1984 GMC from the individual that bought in new. I was going to use it as a hunting truck but after checking it over, finding no previous body work, and it was completely rust free, I decided it was too nice for that. The previous owner had taken the factory 305 motor and the original transmission out and had a 350 custom built with forged pistons small RV cam and top it with an edelbrock intake and Holley carburetor and headers with flow master exhaust for a sweet mellow sound. I decided to have it painted the original factory color and replaced all window and door seals along with replacing the door panels and reupholstering the seat. I have a 13 year old grandson that has his eye on it but granddad is going to enjoy it for a while …. maybe when he gets his license I’ll think about it.
