We purchased this Suburban in 1991 as a hunting truck. It spent 90% of it’s life in the woods and not much attention to detail. Around 1998 it was professionally wrapped with Realtree Advantage camo vinyl material, which I’ll never forget the company asking if we wanted “removable” or “permanent” and my dad saying permanent since it’ll always be our hunting truck. In 2016 my dad gave the truck to my youngest son and our first chore was to remove the “Permanent” vinyl Realtree wrap. This process took almost a year. Since then the truck has Hot Rod Flatz metallic gunmetal gray finish, new crate 350 engine, all leather interior, new 4spd transmission (rare Suburban find with manual transmission) new A/C system front and rear. 6″ touch screen audio system with backup camera and subwoofers, new carpet and headliner with overhead console from late model Suburban, 6″ lift with 38″ tires, all LED interior and exterior lighting. Winch was purchased new in 1981 and has always been on one of our Square body trucks.
