My father purchased this Chevy Silverado in 1987 locally and drove it as a daily driver year round until shortly after his retirement. For many years it was infrequently driven in the summer then undercoated and stored for the winter months. In the later years, due to his failing health, it never came out of storage at all. I decided to gently restore this original truck back to the way my father remembered and loved it, which didn’t require much. The truck was stripped to bare metal, minimal body repairs, repainted base/clear to original factory metallic blue / silver, and custom replication of red pinstripe. A few other minor part replacements inside and out but all in all the truck still remain a numbers matching truck with many of its original parts still intact.
