My dad bought a 1970 C10 Chevrolet truck from a dealership and then around 30 years ago, he gave it to me because I am the oldest of his three sons. I’ve kept the truck ever since.

It came with a 250 straight six engine, three speed on the column. In 2016, Hurricane Matthew left it’s mark on it. Even though I had it stored in covered shelter, an oak tree was blown on the shelter which damaged my treasured truck. I decided then that I would restore it back to it’s original beauty.

I put in a new 350 engine and found a 350 turbo automatic transmission in it from a 1970 Impala Chevrolet. I bought several of the parts from LMC and had it in the body shop for a year for body work and paint job.

On the tail gate, is the name “Yesterday’s Chevrolet” for my treasured, one-family owned truck. I’m very proud to say that it’s been in our family all of these years. It’s been a durable and rugged truck having many memories to cherish.
