Growing up, my Dad always had a truck. I was a truck guy before I could walk. As I got older, I really started to fall in love with the old school Ford’s of the 1970’s. It started with all my Big Foot monster trucks. This set up a dream-come-true opportunity for me.

It all started three years ago, as I was heading to work. I could see an old truck for sale on the side of the road up ahead. It just kept getting cooler, the closer I got. It was a 70’s Ford and I had to have it. All I could read passing by was big block, 4 speed, and 4×4. I swallowed the bait, hook, line, and sinker. I worked the night shift so I could go to school during the day, so i got the number off the windshield around 1 am. The next morning I called the guy and set up meeting to buy it.

Because I watch to much car flipping shows on T.V and that was also all the money I had, I talked the guy down from $2,500, to $1800 cash. This was the first major purchase I have ever made, and my first vehicle. I also had no knowledge at all about vehicles or how to fix them. Once the truck was in the drive way and my family saw my new death trap, I was left with that, “now what,” thought.

I was thinking about leaving the truck as is, but after researching what I had, I decided to restore it because i basically stole this truck. Then I started to look up where I need to start, when restoring a truck. This one company kept coming up, no matter what forum I looked up. LMC truck was where I needed to start. LMC had everything I needed, like literally everything. There is no way I could have built my dream truck without LMC. I did not have much money, but I was still able to buy what I needed. Once I started working on the truck, my life changed. My Dad and I have rebuilt this entire truck under a tent in Illinois. I never thought I would love doing something so time consuming, frustrating, and expensive, so much. The memories I have made working the truck with my Dad will stay with me forever. This is the first summer I have had the truck finished and I am driving the wheels off the old girl and putting it in every show I can.

Thank you LMC for helping me fix up my dream truck, and enabling me to have some of the best moments off my life.
