I owned a small tool and die shop, “Liberty Machine and Tool,” and we were in business for twenty years. In 2013 I bought a 1968 F-100 and started to restore it but an electrical fire destroyed everything. The truck was in a part of the building that didn’t get too hot so I decided to go ahead with it. I took it apart to the last nut and bolt and sandblasted it down to bare metal then built it back from the ground up. The motor is a 390 bored and stroked to a 443, with 650 hp and 750 ft lbs of torque.
