A dream come true… with a little help from my friends.

I bought my truck about 12 years ago for $1000 at a Goodwill auto auction in Cincinnati. For several years my Dodge Ram helped haul the family dirt bikes. My two sons, Armando and Willy, shared the road with me in this truck to several States: Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, where we had fun on our bikes.

When she needed a set of new tires, the salesman at the tire place, insisted that I should try new custom rims also; reluctantly, I accepted the “test” of new rims. It looked so good! And did she deserve them, so I bought them for her.

Needless to say that I got “a little bit” carried away and one thing lead to another… after all, this is what customization is about, dreams coming true. And pretty soon I found myself searching for a Viper V-10 engine, a 48RE transmission and a Dana 60 differential with posi- traction and 4:56 gears in it.

My friend, Steve Henderson in Hamilton, Ohio, custom “genius” (The Garage) and a very honest man, adapted the Viper drivetrain on the truck. Kevin Locker, body and paint “guru” with decades of experience, and my son and I created “VENOMOUS.” It’s had great success in participating in several auto shows in the area.

I must thank my wife, Rayza, for her patience and support during the 5 year long development of “VENOMOUS,” and for understanding my enormous passion for custom vehicles.

It was key to our success the fact that we could easily order from the LMC Dodge Ram catalog, greatly saving us money and time, and with pleasure, getting the correct parts on time at a decent price. The molded carpet, dashboard, tailgate handle relocate kit, headliner, door weatherstrip, body parts and more, are just a few of the parts that complemented our project in a perfect way.

Thank you so much LMC, Steve, Kevin, Armando, Willy, Rayza, and a lot of friends who helped me make a dream come true! As LMC says” Keep ‘em on the road,” and I would add: “And shining at the car/truck shows!”
