My F-100 is a 1977 equipped with the Ranger trim package and a 302ci with a 3 speed on the column manual. I got it in 2008 just after my 15th birthday from the original owner’s son. It was all original in great shape and just had some surface rust on the hood from the paint fading through. I spent the next year getting it ready for me to drive when I was 16.

We sanded it down and repainted it the original black in 2011 for my senior project in high school and then rebuilt the 302 in 2012. In 2016 it got 3rd place in its class at Carlisle Ford Nationals in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, and in 2017 it got chosen to be in the 100 Years of Ford Trucks invitational display at Carlisle Ford Nationals and Carlisle Truck Nationals.

Never thought I would own a 70’s Ford truck and have the chance to get it to the point it is now. I enjoy taking it to all kinds of shows. I plan on always owning the truck and hopefully passing it on to a son of my own one day.
