About four years ago I began a casual search for a truck to restore. I have always had an interest cars and trucks. In the 1960s, my brother and I converted a 1956 Chevy 2 dr HT to compete in drag racing on local tracks. Or as our disapproving mother put it, “ruined a perfectly good automobile.”

Anyway, my casual search turned into an intense hunt when my grandson found out I was looking. He found a 1969 Ford F-350 in a nearby town. The owner had started the mechanical restoration but could not finish. I bought the truck and began interior restoration with parts from LMC. I then had the exterior painted. The truck is about 90% restored now. We enjoy taking the truck to local shows and to CRUISIN THE COAST. This is an annual event on the Mississippi Gulf Coast attended by thousands of participants from every state in the country. We look forward to enjoying the truck for many years and keeping it in the family.
