Bill McEwan spent about 11 months bringing this truck back to life. It hadn’t run in over 20 years and needed just about everything mechanically. Any new metal he welded in was painted black, everything else was left as-is. A lathe was used to turn a one-of-kind shift knob, and seat covers were stitched together from a Mexican blanket. The bike in the bed was made from a 50’s Schwin with custom tank and exhaust. Entered into a car show in June, the truck placed 2nd (next to a rare L89 ’69 Camaro).
