I took this 1970 CST/10 from the family barn in 2010 where it had set with a broken starter, numerous broken interior parts, and mice nesting in the heater core for years. To get it running good enough to go home I installed a fuel pump and ran a fuel line into a barrel since the gas in the tank had crystallized into an alien creature. Once home I used a porta-power to push out the major dents, installed a new gas tank, brakes, cleaned up the interior with some seat covers and carpet, chased the mice out of the heater and disinfected all of the parts, and sent my newly licensed 16 year old driver off to high school in it.

After two more 16-year-old drivers indoctrinated the truck to a few more dents and some hard miles the truck was returned to me. For surviving three novice drivers I rewarded it with a balanced and blueprinted forged piston cammed 350, new exhaust, paint, trim pieces and some valve train upgrades. The truck now serves as my daily driver.

These trucks are a great piece of steel and very easy to work on. LMC makes it very convenient to get all the pieces you need in one place. Thanks.
